Niche Down to Stand Out

Why, why, why, why would you limit yourself to a certain part of the market when you can service anybody, right?

Well, I'm going to tell you right now, everyone services everybody and if you think about the size of, for instance, the ndis and how many providers there are out there and all of the clients out there, people are saying, well, I just need to get any client.

I'm going to tell you right now that, yeah, any client feels great until you get clients that you're not perfectly suited to work with. If you think about adding as much value to the people you're working with and helping them to achieve something amazing, to be brutally honest, there's only a smaller portion that you are perfectly suited to work to.

And so this gets really clear when you're a smaller business, helping you stand out is at the core of that is being a hero to some specific area of the industry.

So if you are particularly gifted in working in mental health, then maybe acquired spinal injury is not your ideal market because you're trained, you're passionate about helping people in the mental health space.

That acquired injuries and that sort of thing, then maybe you're just not really set up and gifted in working in the mental health space. When you identify a perfect ideal client, and how you could help them and how you get them from point a to b, because you can get so much clearer on the results, you're getting them, and you become like a rock star, right?

We've talked before about being that movie star business owner.

You become a rock star to that person. So I want you to think about right now, if I could only ever have one client, who would they be? What would they be like and how would I help them?

Now you can get all your marketing, all your messaging, all your value is going to go directly towards that type of person which is going to make you stand out above the rest of the crowd who is going wide across everywhere else.

So how can you niche down?

Who is your ideal niche?

So you can stand up and stand out and build your business around an ideal area of clientele. Now I'm going to tell you right now when you have an ideal area like that, that helps you find staff that are also passionate about doing that same type of work So niche down to stand out, be that rock star to a particular part of the industry that you can serve exceptionally well.
